EMch 212 : Grading Policy
Your final grade in this course will be based on your performance
on three exams during the semester, a final comprehensive exam
during the finals week, and a set of mandatory homework problems.
In each of the four exams
you can obtain a maximum of 100 points, out of which the three best
scores will be added to the score for the homework
problems ( max 100 points as well ) to obtain your final score.
( max = 400 points).
The total number of
points you achieve will be converted to a letter grade. Although
the relationship between achieved points and letter grades will not
be determined until all "data" are in, the following table is typical.
A = 376-400 C+ = 301-315
A- = 361-375 C = 272-300
B+ = 346-360 D = 230-271
B = 331-345 F = 0-229
B- = 316-330
