Module : Design and Build Project

Each section of ED&G 100 ideally persues towards the end of the semester a design, build, test, and competion project depending on available resources, class size and other variables.

Current Design Project (yet to come)

The resources below link to project components that are common to all Engineering Design projects. They provide access to these resources both in their most generalized forms and also as they've been applied to more specific design project tasks. Also included are links to web pages about projects of the past, both here at Mont Alto and elsewhere.

Design Process Information on the systematic design method employed by engineers in solving problems.
Report Guidelines Set of guidelines which are used for preparing design project reports at Penn State and throughout the entire engineering design field.
Project Management & Assessment Tools Links to forms and documents which are commonly used as management tools within the Engineering design process.
PSU ED&G 100 HomePage Link to a PennState wide project to incorporate ED&G 100 related material as produced at different campuses by different faculty.
Projects of previous years at MA What students have done in previous years at Mont Alto.
Projects of previous years at PSU What students have done in previous years at other PSU campuses, including at UP
