Your final grade in this course will be based on your performance on different projects (80%) and some short in-class quizzes (20%).
Projects are always due on a specified day at or before 11:59 pm according to the timestamp given to your source code file by our server computer linux.ma.psu.edu. This time is synchronized to within less than a millisecond error with an atomic clock ( I am not kidding ). Your submission for a particular project will be graded on a scale from 0 to 10 ( 10 being the best ). A point will be deducted if your submission falls into the first 24 hours after being due, another point for the next 24 hours, etc.
You get an automatic 0 if your code does not even compile without an error message.
